How to use
- Fill your refillable OriginalLine capsule with finely ground espresso coffee (espresso-style grind, level — do not tamp hard).
- Wipe the rim clean so the lid can bond evenly.
- Place a CAPMESSO foil lid centered over the capsule.
- Press firmly around the rim to seal — the adhesive ring will lock down.
- Insert into your OriginalLine machine and brew as normal. The machine pierces the foil cleanly and pulls a full shot.
FAQ
Are these compatible with all refillable Nespresso pods?
They're designed for standard refillable OriginalLine capsules. Vertuo pods use a different format and need Vertuo-specific foil lids.
Why is my crema thin even with a sealed lid?
Crema depends on grind, dose and bean freshness more than the seal — make sure you're using a fine, espresso-style grind and fresh beans.
Can I reuse a foil lid?
No. The lid is single-use — once pierced by the machine, it can't reseal. The pod itself is what's reusable.
Why won't my machine pierce the lid properly?
Check that the capsule is seated correctly and the lever is fully closed. If the lid is doubled or wrinkled, peel it off and use a fresh one.
Are the lids safe?
Yes — they're SGS-certified food-grade aluminum, designed for hot-water/espresso brewing.
