How to use

1. Carefully cut around the original foil along the rim of an empty Vertuo pod — don't cut into the rim where the barcode lives.
2. Tip out the old grounds, rinse the pod, and let it dry.
3. Refill with fresh, finely ground coffee.
4. Wipe the rim so the new lid can bond cleanly.
5. Place the CAPMESSO foil lid over the opening — keep the printed rim barcode exposed.
6. Press firmly around the rim to seal.
7. Brew as usual; the machine reads the original barcode and runs its normal program.

FAQ

Will my Vertuo machine still recognize the pod?
Yes — as long as the foil lid covers only the coffee opening and the printed rim barcode stays visible and undamaged.

Why is my machine blinking and refusing to brew?
It can't read the barcode. Check that the rim barcode isn't covered, scratched or cut. A clean, intact barcode is essential.

What pod sizes does this fit?
These are sized for standard refillable Vertuo pods. If you've cut the original lid off carefully (without damaging the rim), the new CAPMESSO lid seals over the opening.

Can I reuse a foil lid?
No — the lid is single-use. The pod and the barcode are what's reusable; you replace the foil each brew.

Why is this different from your 64mm foil lids or the foil seal kit?
This 100-pack is plain embossed lids (no tools), in the standard refillable Vertuo size. The 64mm pack is sized for that specific pod diameter, and the Vertuo Foil Seal Kit includes a holder, brush and scoop.
